TruePace Analytics — Physiological Running Analysis & VO2 Max Tracker
TruePace Analytics delivers high-fidelity physiological analysis for runners. Import your Garmin .fit or Stryd data to track VO2 Max, power dynamics, stride biomechanics, cardiovascular load, and aerobic fitness trends — all processed privately in your browser.
Key Features
- VO2 Max estimation and trending from Garmin .fit files
- Fitness Index and aerobic load analysis
- Power dynamics analysis (Stryd & Garmin Power)
- Stride biomechanics: Ground Contact Time, Vertical Ratio, Leg Spring Stiffness degradation
- Cardiovascular zone distribution and polarised training analysis
- Environmental and thermal performance correction (heat penalty, humidity penalty)
- Race time predictor using Peter Riegel's formula
- Respiratory dynamics and locomotor rhythm analysis
- 100% private — all data stays in your browser, nothing is uploaded
How to Import Your Running Data
TruePace supports three import methods:
- Garmin .fit files — recommended. Export directly from your Garmin watch via USB or Garmin Connect.
- Garmin CSV summary exports — for quick macro-history analysis without per-second telemetry.
- Stryd .zip telemetry exports — fuse Stryd power data with your Garmin CSV for deep power metrics.
Methodology
VO2 Max is estimated using the formula: VO2 = ((0.2 × Speed + 3.5) / % of Max HR) × Economy Factor. The Fitness Index strips external variables by calculating: FI = (Speed / Adjusted HR) × Elevation × Wind × 10. Race projections use the Riegel formula: T2 = T1 × (D2 / D1)^1.06.
